The Blake Art Prize has been awarded since 1951 and the Blake Poetry Prize since 2008. Artworks and poems must address a subject of religious or spiritual integrity. This pre-requisite is one that intentionally invites open responses from artists and poets and, as such, has drawn much discussion and debate over the past 61 years.

David Boyd: His Work, His Life, His Family

David Boyd OAM (1924-2011) passed away in 2011 at the age of 87 years and this exhibition celebrates his life’s work, along with four generations of Boyd family paintings, drawings, sculptures and ceramics. This exhibition will present not only works by David Boyd but will also include works by the members of his extended family - from his grand-parents through four generations to his own children.

Elemental Reckoning: The Art of Tim Storrier 1981-2011

Curated by Gavin Wilson the exhibition spans 30 years of Tim Storrier’s work, beginning in 1981 when the artist began his burning rope experiments on the salt pans of Lake Mungo which have since become a hallmark of his practice. Sidney Nolan: The Gallipoli series

Throughout his extraordinary artistic career, Gallipoli was a theme to which Nolan would constantly return.
