From here to Eternity, is a selection of 52 exquisite tapestries of contemporary Australian art, produced
by the renowned Victorian Tapestry Workshop in this revered and ancient form. The exhibition is
a stunning example of contemporary tapestry, designed by some of Australia’s leading artists.

Regarded as a world centre for one of Western civilisation’s oldest and richest art forms, the
Victorian Tapestry Workshop boasts an international reputation for the freshness, vitality and technical
excellence of its hand-woven tapestries.

Artists involved included Davida Allen, GW Bot, Angela Brennan, Mike Brown, Eugene Carchesio, Jon Cattapan, Peter D Cole, Gordon Crook, Alan Davie, Merrin Eirth, Louise Forthun, Graham Fransella, Katherine Hattam, Christine Johnson, Roger Kemp, David Larwill, Alun Leach-Jones, Bessie Liddle, Chris O’Doherty aka Reg Mombassa, Glenn Morgan, Stieg Persson, Jimmy Pike, Geoff Ricardo, Gareth Sansom, Mark Schaller, Martin Sharp, Heather Shimmen, Arlene Textaqueen, Lin Utzon, and Peter Walsh.

Organised and toured by the Victorian Tapestry Workshop. Toured to Benalla, Hamilton, Castlemaine, Adelaide & Maitland.
