In 2018 the Gallery celebrates its 40th anniversary and is presenting an exhibition of works by women artists from its collection to mark this important milestone.
The works featured include a collection of modernist print by printmakers such as Margaret Preston, Thea Proctor, Ethleen Palmer, Vera Blackburn, Gladys Gibbons, Ailsa Lee Brown, Jessie Mackintosh, Eileen Mayo, Adelaide Perry & Ethel Spowers. These will be exhibited alongside paintings by artists such as Ethel Carrick Fox, Clarice Beckett, Jessie Scarvell, Portia Geach and others.
